About the Book

"official" (or at least, what you will read on the back of the book...)

Cara is your average girl. She goes to school, hates the teachers, and goes through most of Junior High like any other girl. But Cara-in a way, that no one notices-is different. She has dreams. Not just any dreams, her dreams contain information that could determine the fate of the human race. She can't trust anyone. But when she finds out what she has to do, she's not sure if she wants to....

City of Anellma

Ellena J. Fidrat and Gem Cady

"unofficial"

Anellma; how it came to be, and extra snibbets you won't read in the book.

(If you see this: Example of Spoiler it means there is a spoiler. To read the spoiler, all you have to do is click and drag your mouse over the black highlighted area, and you can read it. So, if you haven't finished the book, don't read the spoiler! Thanks!!)

Anellma used to just be an idea that Ellena had. It was simply, a girl who had no friends, meets a boy, their best friends now, she falls in love, she finds out he's an alien. And that was it. No Anellma, no nuthin'.

And then one day, Ellena went to Utah to see Gem, and they were talking about books, when Ellena started telling her about this idea. And then BOOM. Sudden falls of brilliant inspirational moments!!! Then everything fell into place-let me emphasize EVERYTHING- and Anellma was born, and it blew away the avid idea Ellena had, into this whole amazing....thing. Book. Then there was no way we could just live with these characters in our minds; we had to let the character live themselves. So, we began to write.

And that's basically it; our marvelous tale of the idea of Anellma.

Extra Snibbets You Won't Read About In The Book

No, this is not out takes or Extras or anything like that, I apologize.(Although maybe we will make a page like that...later...)

Anyways; let's just go straight to it, shall we? We began writing, and had a whole hunk of  90 pages or so written. (which is a lot, considering our "situation" of living across the country....) and then we saw eachother again and said, "No. This is not working." So we planned it out better and rewrote the whole thing, which leads up to where we currently are in life. Why did we choose to re-write it? We were younger, so the writing wasn't as good as it could have been. We hadn't been communicating very much (besides email...for instance: "Here's the fourth chapter, send me the fifth ASAP!") and we both got lost and didn't really know what the other person was thinking and/or going with the book.

So there you have it. Some snibbets that you wouldn't have heard about in the book. Pathetic, huh? We'll post more later, so, until then, hope you're all satisfyed. ttyl!
